Questions

Things schools ask first.

Is Wendel really safer than spreadsheets and group chats?
Yes · but more importantly, it's auditable. School owns the data. Every roster edit, every sensitive-club access, every export is logged. We sign your DPA on day one and we never train AI on student data.
What happens at club fair day if Wi-Fi dies?
Kiosk mode caches signups offline and syncs when it reconnects. Every booth also has a printable QR backup. We have a 1-day uptime SLO for fair days, plus a transparent status page.
How does Wendel handle FERPA, COPPA, and state privacy laws?
Data minimization by default, tenant isolation on every table, encryption at rest, immutable audit logs, school-configurable retention, and a subprocessor list we keep public. Under-13 flows respect parental consent.
Can we keep parents in the loop without making things creepy?
Per-school, per-hub. Parent digests, public pages, and permission slips are opt-in and policy-driven. Sensitive memberships are never exposed to peers or guardians by default.
